The largest planet of the solar system is Jupiter. It mainly consists of a layer of liquid hydrogen and helium surrounding a solid rocky and iron core. Jupiter features a very strong magnetic field. Especially impressive is a gigantic storm area, where winds have been raging constantly for approximately 300 years.
